Your role as an industrial clerk
What you will learn in the three-year apprenticeship
During your training at the Vöcklabruck site, you will get to know every element of this varied profession and learn about everything that goes into keeping the office of an industrial business running smoothly. For example, you will learn the ropes of process and production workflows, marketing, accounting, purchasing and legal matters. It is important to us that your apprenticeship teaches you to be flexible and to understand how best to communicate with customers, suppliers, staff and senior managers.

After your training
So you’ve finished your apprenticeship – what next?
Industrial clerks are found in virtually all industries and all administrative departments within companies. Your training will prepare you to perform administrative and organizational activities in industrial businesses and, for instance, to take responsibility for purchasing raw materials and bought-in products. You will also deal with aspects of materials management and logistics, accounting and human resources, general office administration or even marketing and advertising.

Apprenticeship with School-Leaving Certificate
All apprentices can earn the “Matura” school leaving certificate upon completion.

Additional Leave
Up to 3 days additional leave per year for community training.
