If the top section of an Elypso gate valve from 1968 ever needs to be replaced, then that's just the job for Hawle.

A horizontal load on the installed fitting caused the spindle of a gate valve to break off, which meant that it could no longer be actuated. The unique nature of this project: The Elypso gate valve and its extension spindle were still intact and watertight after 55 years. #madeforgenerations at its best!

The hexagon socket head screws on the top were easy to open and the coating of epoxy paint inside and out was still very sound. Even the "Made in Austria" label 🇦🇹 was still legible after all this time.

For us, though, #madeforgenerations also means that it goes without saying that Hawle can still supply spare parts for a product that was installed 55 years ago!
