1st place at the apprentice hackathon

Congratulations to our IT apprentices Paul Granser & Eric Höchtl for the 1st place at the apprentice hackathon of the austrian economic chambers!
With their self-designed Hawle "knowledge to go" app they created a software solution within the given time, which was evaluated and awarded by the expert jury in terms of usability, design & innovative strength.
At the apprentice hackathon, apprentices from upper austria competed against each other with the goal of programming an app. All participants were assigned to different experience groups based on their education and previous experience. Eric & Paul achieved the first place among the professionals!
1) Rookies: apprentices with no previous experience.
2) Professionals: apprentices with basic programming knowledge
3) Experts: apprentices for whom programming is an essential part of their training.
The award ceremony took place during the fair "youth & career". We are really proud of them. The idea behind the app is that Hawle employees should be able to access all important documents from any place at any time.
Eric Höchtl passed his final apprenticeship exam as an IT systems technician with good results on September 15, while Paul Granser is currently in his 4th year of apprenticeship.
Eric & Paul are now heading to the federal hackathon - and we're keeping our fingers crossed for them. Good luck!
