3,500 m² more Hawle

After the warehouse opening in Frankenmarkt, Austria, in September, another one followed shortly after. This time at our Czech subsidiary in Jesenice, near Prague.

The new warehouse in Jesenice is quite impressive: On a size of 3,500 m², there is space for 8,363 Euro pallets with a loading capacity of 1,000 kg per pallet. But expanding the storage space was not the only goal of this project. Rather, we focused on optimizing internal logistics processes and expanding production capacities. This forms the basis for long-term site development and, subsequently, for ensuring delivery capability.

The much more spacious new sales and customer center will in future provide sufficient space for groups of customers and visitors and allow a clear insight into the Hawle product world.

After three years of project work, the time had come: our Czech colleagues were able to ceremoniously open the warehouse, which was equipped with new floor conveyors and new warehouse management software. After 1.5 years, guests from the entire Hawle Austria Group as well as the mayor of Jesenice gathered to witness the opening of the new logistics warehouse and customer center (in compliance with strict Corona measures, of course).

For the social program, Hawle Czech Republic offered a lot to the guests. In addition to a warehouse tour, there was a photo box, a table football table and a virtual reality station. In the marquee, visitors were treated to culinary delights and entertained by a Czech folk dance group and a magician.

We wish our customers in the Czech Republic a lot of fun during their visits and are convinced that we can now offer an even better service.
