2022 Donations

For many years now, Hawle has been passionate about helping people in difficult situations. This year, we will be lending our support to the following partners:

Viva con Agua Austria (VcA) - Ongoing Partnership

This year we are once again supporting the Viva con Agua Austria initiative with an online donation campaign in which anyone can take part. Every euro counts here, because Hawle doubles every euro donated: Viva con Agua - Austria
Viva con Agua is campaigning for safe access to clean potable water around the world. The year 2022 will mark the fourth time that Hawle has supported Viva con Agua water projects in Malawi.

Licht ins Dunkel - Platinum Partner

"Licht ins Dunkel" is the biggest charitable initiative in Austria. With its focus on supporting physically and mentally disabled people as well as psychosocially impaired children, LICHT INS DUNKEL – a charitable, non-profit organization – promotes social projects and initiatives based around inclusion across the whole of Austria, with the aim of boosting participation in society. Individual support for families with children or people who have been disabled since birth is also available via the LICHT INS DUNKEL emergency fund.

Ö3 Christmas Miracle

Our employees support the "Ö3 Christmas miracle". For this purpose, we set up donation boxes during the Christmas party as well as at our locations in Vöcklabruck and Frankenmarkt and hope for many donations, because our management doubles the amount donated!

The Austrian Childhood Cancer Organization

The mission of the Austrian Childhood Cancer Organization is to provide comprehensive support to children and young people with cancer and their families. This ranges from medical and nursing care to social and psychological support, right through to legal assistance.

The organization was founded in 1988 and is active throughout Austria. It is an independent, non-profit organization that is mainly financed by private donations and has the Austrian Donors' Seal of Approval. The six regional organizations principally provide direct help to families who find themselves in financial difficulties as a result of a child's illness and take care of financing child-friendly equipment on cancer wards.

Volunteer Fire Departments Vöcklabruck & Frankenmarkt

Hawle has been supporting the Vöcklabruck and Frankenmarkt volunteer fire departments for several years. The fire department uses the donations to renew necessary rescue equipment, protective clothing and equipment. Many thanks to the volunteers who help at any time of the day or night, every day of the week, free of charge!

Caritas - Advice and help for people in need in Upper Austria

This campaign is about supporting people at risk of poverty with food vouchers and subsidies for electricity and heating. Due to the massive wave of inflation that we are feeling in almost all areas, many household coffers are empty and people are desperate who can no longer afford the most basic necessities. And it is precisely these fates that Caritas would like to help quickly and unbureaucratically in the 12 social counseling centers in Upper Austria.
