Teachers discover the world of craft up close: An exciting day in our training center

On November 7, 2023, 18 practical educators from schools from all over Upper Austria visited us as part of the professional development program of the University of Education Upper Austria.

The event started with a guided tour of our site in Frankenmarkt, where they got special insides of our production. Furthermore, we demonstrated the function of our products, like the valves and the hydrants.

In our modern apprentices' workshop, the teachers had the opportunity to get hands-on experience, trying various manual activities such as filing, marking and drilling, and independently creating small workpieces. The relevant tasks were instructed to them independently by our apprentices.

The training provided the practical educators insights into metalworking, in order to enhance their teaching skills regarding manual activities in their practical lessons. Additionally, we want to increase awareness of Hawle as an attractive employer and training company for apprentices.

We enjoyed the intense dialogue and cooperation with the teachers and were delighted by their visit in Frankenmarkt!
