World Water Day 2022

Water is life and a human right.
That's why we celebrate World Water Day today.

What is World Water Day?
World Water Day has been around since 1993, an outcome of the UN World Conference on Environment and Development held in Rio de Janeiro in 1992. Its purpose is to raise awareness among the general public that access to clean water is not a privilege, but a human right. Yet nearly 800 million people have no access to clean drinking water.

We, too, want to draw attention to the fact that drinking water is a human right and, at the same time, create awareness for this valuable resource. Therefore, today, on our social media channels, we are launching a "4-week campaign".

This campaign presents tips and tricks on how we can save water in our everyday lives. Because it's already small steps that can make a big difference.
